[1924] 1st thus. 128pp, b/w plate frontis and three further b/w plate illustrations (all by the author) and numerous b/w illustrations and decorations in text. Book design and decoration by Mrs Grace Gallatin Thompson Seton. Olive green boards with coloured cameo of a dog on front. Boards lightly marked and lightly rubbed and rounded on edges. Hint of tanning to endpapers and text block edges. Neat inscription on fpdep, otherwise internally fresh and clean. A lovely copy of this children's classic.
