Not dated but c 1905. Red buckram binding, elaborately decorated in gilt on spine and gilt monogram on front (a little rubbed at edges and faded around spine). Gorgeous marbled endpapers (small nick in front free endpaper). Internally neat and clean barring previous owner's name (Wyatt, 8 Wilton Grove, SW19) on title page. Numerous monochrome illustrations. Handsome volume. The Biographical edition of Dicken's works was produced by Chapman and Hall between 1902 and 1910, under the editorship of Arthur Waugh (father of novelist, Evelyn). It comprised 19 volumes of Dickens' writing and two additional volumes - this one and a volume of miscellaneous papers. 0
