As new condition throughout out. DJ now protected in mylar wrapper. Lady Anne Blencowe's receipt book offers an important historical insight into the kitchen and stillroom of a society lady of the late 17th century. The original cannot be found but a reproduction in the 1920s ensured the collection survived. The recipes have been adapted to give modern readers the opportunity to re-create original 17th century dishes. This 2004 edition itself is now very hard to fine and, in my experience, unique in such fine condition.
