In a matt dust jacket in Mystery Book Guild style (gentle shelf wear at edges, tiny nick at head of spine). First published by John Long in 1965. The Mystery Book Guild republished leading mystery novels at the rate of two a month, building an attractively uniform series of classic crime and thrillers. Its diamond design dust jackets are both sought after and pleasing. A little gem for lovers of vintage fiction. Some of the novels in the series are now hard to find in this or any other edition.
