Tissue-guarded colour frontispiece (showing the Hotel de Ville in Loches). 73 plate illustrations, plus sketches and vignettes in text. Handsome and historical important volume. Boards a little rubbed and worn at edges, spine label chipped, previous owner's inscription on slightly toned endpapers.
