Not dated but c. 1910. 298pp plus publisher's catalogue of 'popular illustrated books' bound in at rear. Monochrome plate frontispiece and 5 further monochrome plate illustrations, all by Walter Paget. Illustrated blue/green boards and spine (a little worn at edges, slightly sunned to spine). Prize plate on front paste down endpaper, indicating that the book was presented to Bertie Pearce in March 1913 for good attendance at Hyde Heath Sunday School. Hint of spotting on early pages. Mild edge tanning. Lovely volume of this classic story for children first published in 1847, just before the author's death. 0
