Nice vintage copy of this classic children's tale, in sound period dust jacket. 320pp. 8 colour illustrations plus drawings in text, all by Vincent O Cohen. Decorated cloth boards with matching endpapers. Bookplate on endpaper and Prize plate on half-title page, indicating the book was awarded to ELizabeth Allen at Xmas 1956 as an Art Prize in Greystones School, Willesborough. Dust jacket a little rubbed in places at edges and chapped at head of spine. Occasional spotting.
