256pp. 1st edition, 1st printing (true first). Blue cloth covered boards (a little stained across top edge), in illustrated dust jacket (rubbed at edges and minor chapping). Neat and clean volume, square and firmly bound. As with all Leo Walmsley's novels, Sound of the Sea is drawn from real life, on this occasion turning back to his boyhood in the Yorkshire fishing village he calls Bramblewick. This is a nice first edition copy with its original dust jacket.
