1st UK ed (the US edition having been published in the preceding year). Green and red cloth-covered boards (a tad faded along upper edge). Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, else internally neat, crisp and clean. Pictorial dust jacket, mildly chapped at edges, small closed tear on back and small scar on front. One of the most memorable novels Agnes Sligh Turnbull wrote the story of young James O'Hara, born in Ireland, educated in Paris and bedazzled by the New World of North America.
