viii, 312pp plus publisher's adverts at rear. 14th printing. Not dated but c 1938. Red cloth-covered boards, still bright and clean, very gently rubbed at extremities. Occasional spotting. In pictorial dust jacket by William Heath Robinson. DJ chapped long edges with 2 inch closed tear along spine joint and very minor loss at head of spine.
