xvii, 140pp. 10 colour plate illustrations, all by George Alfred Williams, and further line drawings in text. Tissue-guarded frontispiece. Two colour printing etc. Deckled edges. Attractive green buckram boards, blind embossed, gilt titles and frames and onlay illustrations (one chipped). Boards a little worn at corners and mildly sunned on spine. Prize plate on front endpaper, indicating volume was presented to one Margaret Freud, Hillcrest, 1914, for languages. Occasional spotting. One leaf detached, another loosening. Handsome volume.
