Inscribed by the aristocrat, diplomat and cousin of Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Shane Leslie to Sir Campbell Mitchell-Cotts, the South African born star of the British stage, film and TV, with reference to the Bloody Handed-Badged Order. A lovely copy of a 19th century novel, infamously poor-written and ungrammatical. Mark Twain called it "one of the greatest unintentionally hilarious novels of all time," and to this day it continues to be featured on lists of the worst books ever written. Small 8vo.
