Not dated but prize plate on front endpapers dated 1914. 336pp. Green cloth boards, pictorial colour stamped decoration to front and spine, with gilt titles (a little rubbed at edges and darkened). Decorated endpapers (front endpaper carries remnants of prize plate). Pages toned. Colour plate frontispiece and colour plate printed title page, and five further colour plate illustrations, all by Richard Tod. First published by Frowde in 1862. The first in a series of naval adventure stories which continues with the Three Lieutenants, the Three Commanders, and the Three Admirals. 0
