A Boardman Bloodhound Mystery, No. 45. 220pp. First Orange cloth boards, the Boardman Bloodhound motif in lower leading corner (rubbed at edges, two coffee rings on front). Lending sheet on front endpaper but no other library markings. In its original pictorial dust jacket, still bright, by D McLoughlin. British artist Denis McLoughlin served as art director for Boardman Books and provided many of the dust jacket illustrations. Very nice copy of this author's first book which won the MWA Edgar Award winner for Best First Novel of 1953. 12mo
