Revised edition (with significant additional material to that of the first edition of 1932. 116pp. Lots of charts and sepia-toned illustrations. Complete with fold-out genealogical table giving the Bank's founder's family history. Gives vivid picture of the ways in which nine generations of the Hoare family ran and managed a bank founded before the Bank of England. Blue cloth boards with gilt titles (corners very gently rounded). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a little toning on endpapers. In its original matt dust jacket (a tad faded, a couple of edge nicks, bumped along upper edge, and small old tape mark on lower corner).
