1st ed, 1st imp. 106pp. Colour plate frontispiece and five further colour plate illustrations, numerous decorations in text, all by H G Poliane. Beige cloth-covered boards (rubbed at corners and spine joints, a bit faded, small nick in cloth) Endpapers have light toning, and very occasional spotting, else neat and clean internally. A retelling of the life of a salmon fish, from its birth in the Yukon River to his return to die there four years later. As well as numerous shark incidents, it includes a visit to the Bikini atoll during atomic bomb testing.
