Gutter repair to front endpapers. In its original dust jacket (chapped along upper edge, rubbed and chipped along all other edges, worn, spine crease, mis-folding). Originally published in 1945 under the title of "Night Club", the first print run was tiny due to war-time paper rationing. This reprint, which includes a biographical chapter on Peter Cheyney which was not present in the first edition, was published shortly after the author's death in 1951.
