Not dated but copyright page states book produced to War Economy Standards, so published between 1942 and 1949. 208pp. Orange cloth boards (heavily worn and rubbed at edges, fraying at spine tips, soiled). Untidy lending sheet on front free endpaper. Pages well-thumbed and soft with light spotting and the odd mark. Tape gutter repair to title page spread. In its original, faded, dust jacket (chipped, rubbed at points, old interior tape repairs around spine and tear).
