324pp. Red publisher's cloth boards (worn at edges and around spine folds, corners and spine ends rounded, a few marks). Top edge stained red. Lending sheet on front free endpaper, else no other library markings. Internally neat and clean barring occasional spotting. Slightly shaken. Novel upon which the 1935 film of the same title, starring Richard Arlen, was based. Bell, although largely overlooked as an author now was very successful in his time. He is said to be the first American writer to sell a million copies of a novel and to make a $1m from writing.
