Letter laid in, dated December 1916, to one Arthur, from Jenny, describing how she is gifting the book to him (no known association with author, but interesting reflection on the war-time publication of the work). Sherlock Holmes creator turns to Great War history. Large and heavy volume which may require an additional charge to ship beyond the UK.
