Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, art work by Marjorie Campbell (gently rubbed at edges, short closed tear on upper edge of verso). A boy experiences the fall of Constantinople, after slipping from a tree and meeting a man reading a purple parchment with letters of gold.
