Volumes 4, 5 and 6 from Penelope Wilcock's Hawk and Dove sequence of novels set in Medieval England. Originally conceived as a trilogy, starting with the titles The Hawk and The Dove, The Wounds of the Heart and the Long Fall, these further three volumes complete the sequence. Only ever published in the USA, copies of these novels are not easy to find in the UK. All three volumes in very good condition throughout - neat, clean, bright and tight, with just gentle shelf wear, although volume four shows a little of damp rippling. Volumes 4 and 5, The Hardest Thing To Do and The Hour Before Dawn, are both signed and inscribed by the author.
