266pp. Lots of charts and diagrams. Green cloth boards (rubbed, fraying in places, worn). Internally neat and clean, barring some workings on endpapers. Possibly the simplest and easiest introduction to calculus, reprinted many times in the early 20th century. This edition includes further worked examples and exercises, above those present in earlier printings, the author having been prompted to add them by the success of work (according to the preface of the second edition). Small volume, showing some wear, but firmly bound, clean and perfectly useable.
