In green cloth-covered boards with gilt decoration and lettering (boards are square, clean and bright, with gently rounded corners and spine ends). Previous owners inscription on front endpaper, endpapers mildly toned else internally neat, clean and bright. In its original dust jacket (mildly worn and faded with chips and nicks at edges). A personal view of the county of Derbyshire in the mid 20th century, written by a man who lived there, and loved it.
