Black cloth boards with blind ruled decorations and gilt lettering to spine , possibly a later rebind (worn, a little rubbed at edges, rounded at corners and spine tips). Lovely dye-speckled text block edges. Endpapers tanned, with occasional spotting internally and the odd strained gutter. A tight, square, robust and clean volume.
