New, revised edition, complete in two volumes. xvi, 336pp & viii, 337-680pp, with 24 colour plates (12 in each volume), and numerous further diagrammatic drawings. Green buckram (superior cloth) boards, with blind embossed decorations and gilt lettering, colour plate frontispiece, title page printed in red and black. Large 4to. A very nice, handsome set. Boards a little rubbed at edges and spine joints, minor scuffing and mild rounding at corners, volume two shows a little fraying at head of spine, and on both volumes the gilt decoration on the spine is a little worn. Internally neat, clean, bright and fresh, barring occasional spotting and previous owner's bookplate on front paste down endpapers. Square and firmly bound.
