[xxiv], 370, 40pp. Many contemporary adverts, some on coloured paper. Quarter bound in leather over leatherette with gilt titles and motif to spine. Patterned endpapers. 12mo. Boards a little scuffed, especially around drying leather. Paper scars on front endpaper. There's a library mark at the base of the spine an a few library numbers on early pages, but no other library markings. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Firmly bound. Fascinating snapshot of the Diocese of Ripon for 1888, providing statistics, tables of lessons, information on churches and clergy within the Diocese, training colleges and universities, Diocesan inspectors of schools, relevant Acts of Parliament, notes on the previous year, etc.
