viii, 760pp. With 2545 illustrations and working drawings. Bound in full black leather with gilt lettering and decoration to spine, five raised band and red leather spine label. All edges coloured. (Boards a little rubbed t edges with a couple of small scuffs, one corner rounded, rubbed on spine joints). Internally neat, clean and tight barring some toning on endpapers only, a previous owner's name stamp on half title page and very occasional mild marks). A lovely, impressive volume which serves as a guide on practical handicraft in wood 'published in the belief that it is by far the most exhaustive book on the subject hitherto'. A large & heavy volume which may require an additional charge for delivery outside the UK. Large, thick 8vo.
