In a later leatherette binding with gilt lettering to spine. Additional modern endpapers. Rough cut edges all round. Printed on high grade paper. Internally neat, clean and tight, barring occasional spotting to prelims and small library stamp on prelim and opposite first view. A magnificent and detailed account of this history, development and growth of Wakefield Cathedral, from its origins as a parish church long before the Norman Invasion to the early years of the 20th century. 8vo.
