Boards a little bumped and worn at corners and spine ends. Deckled edges. Linen enriched, pale green endpapers. Library label on front endpaper, and small stamp. Small stamp on each plate and couple of smudge marks, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Firmly bound. In part a reprint of Dawe's original 'Life of Morland' with some introductory remarks add, as well as extracts from other biographies of the artist showing where certain of his paintings and pictures were in his lifetime, and appendices listing engravings etc and, most importantly the addition of illustrations giving examples of his work.
