Second edition. 324pp. Green cloth covered boards, upper edge tinted green, gilt lettering to spine and embossed motif in centre (a little rounded at corners and spine ends, a couple of tiny white marks). Some mild spotting on text block edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight and firmly bound. Signed and inscribed by the author, presenting the book to Alex? McLachlan, with regards, signed Easter 1931. Also laid in is a letter from the author to Alex McLachlan, thanking him for his work in providing typescript for the book and discussing its publication. A book of comic tales and reflections gather from some of those who preferred the pleasures of walking in Yorkshire to the newly arrived suggestion of transport by car.
