Red cloth covered boards, extensively embossed and decorated in black and gilt, bevelled edges, all text block edges gilded. Extra illustrated title page. 4to. Boards rubbed at corners, and at spine ends, a little worn all over. Hinges strained and free endpapers a little offset and hence a little chapped at edges, else neat, clean, bright and tight. Illustrations clean and gleaming. Mild damp stain on first title page.
