Strong Buckram boards, embossed decorations and gilt lettering, all edges gilt (boards rubbed at edges and a tad warped in places, generally worn). Internally generally neat and clean, with some faint occasional spotting an a few signs of fingering to pages and slightly shaken. Extra title page is faded. A beautiful, evocative volume now protected in archival quality Mylar wrap. Engravings by Floyd, Bentley, Mottram, Varrall, Henshall and others.
