A collection of Masonic Pamphlets , dating from the 1930s, bound into a single volume. Quarter bound in calf leather over tan cloth boards (leather rubbed and chipped, a tad flaky on spine). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring some smudging on title page and a couple of small, scattered ink marks on endpapers; firmly bound and square. (1) Some Masonic Degrees Worked at Bottoms, Stansfield, Near Halifax, During the 19th Century, 1931, 32pp, with a few photographic illustrations and tables and charts; (2) Antecedants of Freemasonry in Leeds, by R D Matthews, 28pp and (3) Friendly Societies and Their Origins, by R D Matthews, 1935, 26pp plus fold out illustration at end.
