104pp plus 67 silhouette portrait plates (captioned heave tissue guards). Black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine and white titles and silhouette on front. Rubbed spine ends, small tear in cloth at head, shelf number. Gently rubbed top front corner, bottom front lightly bumped. Small lender's stamp on title page and verso of all plates. One of just 500 copies. Author's stamp, indicating this volume was once in his personal collection on front free paste down; there is also a second ownership stamp suggesting the volume was once in the collection of of the incurable collector, Desmond Coke, but this is very unlikely to be so as Coke died a few years before this volume was published. 8vo.
