Cloth fraying and cracked at spine ends. Evidence of tape on the lower edges of boards adjacent to spine. Light general wear to covers. Corners rubbed and rounded. Binding a little loose at the front. Possible light water damage to front paste down. Lightly toned end papers. Small circular lender's stamps throughout. 4to. May was a talented, popular and successful artist, cartoonist and humourist, reaching the height of his popularity in the late 19th century. He is today too often and sadly overlooked. This book is an attempt to reverse that trend.
