First edition, first printing (true first). 146pp. Quarter bound in blue cloth over cream-coloured boards (very slightly rounded at spine tips and faded at edges). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, edge bumped, dust jacket with a couple of tiny, minor spot marks. The touching and troubling memoir of Cassie Bernall, a god-fearing and bright young girl whose life of taken in the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999, written by her mother. In a perverse celebration of Hitler's Birthday, two of her school mates, heavily armed, stormed through the Colorado High School, killing 13. But in an ironic twist of fate, had history taken a different turn, it might have been Cassie holding the guns that day.
