New edition, with illustrations by George Thomas, and a bibliography of the work by George Bullen, Keeper of the Department of Printed Books at the British Museum. Illustrated and decorated boards with gilt titles to front and spine (boards rubbed at edges, rounded and rubbed at corners, beginning to give at spine ends, marks on verso). Previous owner's gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1894; tissue-guarded, illustrated extra title page. Endpapers cracked at gutters, one signature standing proud and loosened, occasional mild spotting and a few light signs of fingering).
