First, and likely only, edition. 34pp with fold out reproduction of the programme of consecration of the Chapter, held at the Rose and Crown Hotel, Penistone on 29 January 1883. In red leather-covered boards with gilt lettering and blind ruled borders (boards a little rubbed at edges, and indentations on front board). Presentation inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1933. Covers the history of the Masonic Wharncliffe Chapter (No. 1462) from its foundation in 1883 to its fiftieth anniversary in 1933.
