Tenth edition (enlarged, with ornamented plates), 1788. xxiv, 314pp. Engraved frontispiece and two further engraved, full page illustrations. Bound in full brown leather with decorative gilt borders and gilt decoration to spine. The spine is faded and worn and the leather title label absent. Boards worn all round edges and corners. Marbled endpapers (the rear free endpaper is a little damaged and now fragile, all endpapers worn). Small armorial plate on front free paste down. Previous owner's name, dated 1845, on half title. Some spotting and mild page marks, and last dozen or so leaves have some mild rusting, getting more prominent towards the rear endpapers.
