72pp plus publisher's adverts and catalogue at rear. Illustrated with plate portrait frontispiece, tissue-guarded, and seven further plate illustrations. In decorated grey cloth-covered boards with white lettering to front and spine (spine sunned and faded, corners and spinet tips a little rounded). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring previous owner's name, dated 1921, and small bookseller's ticket, indicating the volume was once retailed by Young's Library, 165 Kensington High Street, on the front endpapers. Endpapers and text block edges have mild, occasional spotting. A review of the life and works of James McNeil Whistler. Beautifully designed, vintage volume printed on high quality paper.
