First edition, first impression in a first state dust jacket (priced at 15s on front inner flap of dust jacket). Red cloth-covered boards (very slightly rubbed and rounded at spine ends and corners). Some mild spotting on text block edge, previous owner's name neatly inscribed on front paste down and a few mild marks along top edge of rear endpapers, else internally neat, clean and bright. Firmly bound. In its origina, chipped, cracked and faded dust jacket with some loss at spine ends and on lower leading corner. A good gap filler in a Christie collection. Small 8vo. Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality mylar wrapper which is not adhered to the book or the dust jacket in anyway.
