Not dated but circa 1950. Three vintage volumes from Blackie's Library of Famous Books of classic tales for children, uniformly bound, in red cloth-covered boards with black lettering and motif and each with a gloriously rich colour illustrated plate frontispiece (boards on all three volumes very slightly rounded at spine ends). Each volume is neat, clean and fresh internally, barring a hint of toning on endpapers only. Each comes in its original, illustrated dust jacket (jackets very slightly rubbed at corners, bumped on edges, and Kidnapped a little sunned on spine). Really lovely, vintage volumes, ideal gift to encourage and delight a young reader. Large 12mo. Hard to find these editions in such good condition.
