Not dated but likely circa 1925. 148pp. Illustrated with full page and in text black and while lining drawings, all by Jean MacLeod. In grey cloth-covered boards with tipped in colour illustrations (boards a little worn, with one small mark on front, slightly sunned spine). Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1930, endpapers only a little tanned, else internally neat, clean and bright. Firmly bound. Attractive and pleasing vintage book. 30 short stories for children aged 8 to 12 years old.
