xxviii, 428pp. Full calf skin leather covers in tan, gilt titles and design on spine and gilt edge rules on covers. Spine ends rubbes, with small piece missing from hell. Spine cover detached (2cm top, 5cm bottom) on front board. Edge and inner dentelles. Marbles text block edges. Monotone (black) marbled end papers. Ex-libris and small bookseller's label on front paste down. Minor foxing throughout; worst on early pages. This volume includes poetry by Geoffrey Chaucer, Adam Davie, William Dunbar, Henry VI, John Lydgate, etc. Despite spine this volume remains a lovely example of a 200+ year old book. 8vo
