246pp, map, one illustration. Laminated card covers (a little shelf worn, lightly creased around case of spine). Internally neat and clean barring a name and date on the copyright page. Binding fragile and coming loose. A heart-warming history of a house in Dover, and the people who lived there over the 100 or so years since the author's grandfather built the house. The author was moved to write the history in the early 1980s when the house was threatened with demolition to make way for a new road scheme. The bungalow, known as Sunny Corner, nestled at the foot of a winding pathway to teh famous landmark, Shakespeare's CLiff at Dover.
