First Us edition. Prelims plus 312pp. Bright red endpapers. Quarter bound in cloth over illustrated card covers, top edge coloured, leading edge deckled (boards rubbed at spine ends and edges, a little staining at top and bottom of front board). Internally neat, clean and tight, pages just off white. In its original dust jacket, just about in good condition (rubbed and bumped, chapped on lower edge, a little soiled). Not price clipped. The dust jacket protected in an archival-quality mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
