New edition. 96pp, illustrated. In illustrated green cloth boards with black lettering (boards worn, rubbed and rounded at spine ends and corners, cloth a little rippled in places and loose at base of spine, ink mark on verso). Internally a little tanning on endpapers, some faint and occasional foxing, previous owner's name on half-title page, one gutter strained. A hard to find title covering the history and development of the sport of football, from the formation of the Association, the development of the game, rules of the game, captaincy, forwards, half-backs and goal-keepers, with general hints and tips.
