Not dated but circa 1920. xxviii, 128, 80pp, illustrated with black and white plates, complete with two fold-out maps. In red cloth-covered boards with black lettering and decorations (boards are lightly worn at edges, mildly marked, with a white mark on verso). Internally some faint, occasional spotting, a pages have minor edge damage. The first map has a tape repaired closed tear; the second has two short closed tears. A vintage guide to the Buxton area, packed full of contemporary advertisements for local businesses and services, overview of the history of the area, where to eat and what to do 1920s style, with feature sections on Haddon Hall and Bakewell, George Elliot Country etc.
