Uniform edition of the Novels of Georgette Heyer. 324pp. In orange cloth-covered boards with red titles. (Boards are worn, rubbed at edges in places). Library stamps on title page, large paper scar and small stain on rear endpapers, Binding is a little soft. In its original dust jacket (bumped on edges, sunned around spine and perhaps a little faded). Dust jacket is protected in an old Brodart-style sleeve which has been taped to the endpapers. A regency novel. Georgette Heyer, an English novelist and short story writer, effectively established the historical romance genre, and its sub-genre of Regency Romances, and has remained popular among readers since the publication of her first novel, The Black Month, in 1921. Although perhaps best known (and collected) for her Regency Romances, which were written with great attention to historical detail, she also wrote thrillers and detective fiction.
